| | The eCOGRA Seal is granted to online casino websites and online poker rooms that adopt eCOGRA's Generally Accepted Practices. The online casino regulatory body "eCOGRA" has begun a campaign to raise awareness of their "Play it Safe" seal and its positive effects on online casino gambling and the entire online gambling industry as a whole, appointing two top-tier public relations agencies in New York City and London. The two agencies engaging in the casinos "Play it Safe" campaign are Chameleon PR in London and Lotus Public Relations in New York. eCOGRA members test online casino software with their Total Gaming Transaction Review, using software assurance procedures practices by auditing firms from around the world. To date, eCOGRA has awarded Seals to 56 member casino sites, all of which have been independently reviewed by the eCOGRA audit panel.
"The appointment of Lotus Public Relations and Chameleon PR will enable us to increase our communications directly to online casino gamblers and educate casino players about the advantages of playing on eCOGRA members' casino sites," said eCOGRA CEO Andrew Beveridge. "Not only can they play safe in the knowledge that the games are fair, but in the rare case that a dispute might arise, players have a powerful independent intermediary to swiftly resolve their concerns. There are many responsible online casino gaming companies and the eCOGRA 'Play It Safe' seal offers professional and amateur casino players a quick and easy way to identify them."
