Live dealers aren't the type of dealer you play with in a real casino. They are essentially baby-sitters, ostensibly there to add a "genuine" feel to a virtual casino. They do add a little human interaction to what would otherwise be a computer game, but live dealers, when you really think about it, are there to watch over the game and ensure that everything is proceeding smoothly with it. Think of live dealer games as similar to being on a playground in school, with playground monitors making sure all the kids are playing nice and not trying to beat each other to a pulp.
